Hey guys! Welcome back to the blog! Hope you had a great holiday weekend! Today I'm back we're going to be talking about one of my favorite things, mornings routines. I did a morning routine a little while ago, but as school started last week, you know me, I immediately started creating a morning routine that would work for my schedule. Let's get into it!.
At 5:45, my alarm goes, off and it's time to get the day started. First thing, I will make my bed, because that kind of transitions me from sleep to school mode. Then I as always, make my to do list for the day so I can wrap my head around how it will look. Then it is time for the part y'all know and love, the miracle morning routine. You know the drill, meditation, affirmations, visualizations, and journaling. I unfortunately do not have time to workout in the mornings, so I do that in the afternoon (routine coming soon). This is such a nice part of my day and puts me in the right mood.
Then it's time to head into the bathroom to re-apply lotion, deodorant, and or perfume/body spray and get dressed. ( I would love to get a shower cap so I can shower without my hair, but until then, this is what I do so I smell fresh.) Then I do my skincare and put in my contacts.
Once that is all done, it's time for breakfast! I make a cup of decaf coffee and then pick out what I want to eat. Some of my favorite breakfast lately have been smoothies, yogurt and avocado toast with eggs. It's so important for me to get in a good, balanced meal before a long day of school.
After that, I'll head back upstairs and do any finishing touches, such as brushing my teeth, and doing my hair. Then if there is any thing to do, I'll write or edit videos or posts for about 10 minutes. Lastly, I will get my bag, put on my shoes, and head out at around 7:07 (ideally) to catch the bus.
