Taking Myself on a Date - Practicing Self Love
Hey everyone! Welcome back to the blog, and welcome to today's post. Last week I got behind and since it was mother's day, I took the day off to spend time with my mom. This week, I'm talking more about being your own soulmate and spending time with yourself.
To kick off spring, I decided to put on a pretty dress and head out. First I hit the bookstore with a gift card in hand. I ended up getting few books, which was so fun. You will some of these in a upcoming book video, I really enjoyed them. Then I went to Rite Aid and walked around, smelled all the body care as usual, and grabbed a random chapstick because I didn't feel like waiting to get home to try and rescue my chapped lips. These little things are just great little acts of service. After, I sat down with my bullet journal and did that for a while. It was so relaxing. This is such a fun thing to do for yourself and I highly reccomend you spend some quality time with yourself. May is National Mental Health Month, so it's a great time to slow down and check in with yourself and how you're feeling. Don't forget that you deserve the same love that you give to others. See you next week! :)
